About

The Family Meeting is a place where inspiration and uplifting critical thought are initiated and provoked that explores, develops, and creates recommendations and solutions which are pertinent to problems and issues facing our society.

By encouraging this type of dialogue that is premised on intellect, resolve, and respect for one another, often with a particular focus on improving the lives of young people and their families, we believe that we can help make the world a better place.

This is a place where thoughts and comments, in response to thoughtful expressions, posts, articles, or commentaries, on an important issue turn into a Family Meeting.

The main goal of The Family Meeting is to offer inspirational and positive posts that uplift our readers and cause them to think critically about the subject matter. By initiating and provoking positive thought about problems and issues facing society, the conversational process will encourage and generate dialogue that explores and creates solutions. This exploration and creation will be premised in intellect, resolve, and respect for one another, with a particular focus on improving the lives of young people and their families.

It will be a place where your thoughts and comments, in response to a thoughtful post, commentary, or expression on an important issue, turns into a Family Meeting.

One of the most powerful and surprising benefits of blogging, for me, has been the realization that there are so many kindred souls out there in places where I might never have found them. I consider you, and your philosophy and approach to parenting, to be one of those souls. I am so very happy to have found you!
