These links offer a glimpse into the life of Charlie Sifford Sr., the first African-American PGA Professional, who recently passed away.

If you get an opportunity, read his biography entitled “Just Let Me Play: The Story of Charlie Sifford, the First Black PGA Golfer.”

I have had the pleasure of being in the company of Mr. Sifford.

Thank you Sir for your courage and pioneering spirit to integrate a game that I love so much and now enjoy regularly in venues that I would not have been allowed to play in but for your contributions to blazing the trail.

R.I.P. Mr. Sifford!

Thank You So Much!

C. Randolph Keller
