A PRAYER FOR NEWTOWN AND ITS FAMILIES

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Psalm 147:3 (English Standard Version)

Heavenly Father:

Please heal the broken hearted of Newtown, Connecticut and bind up their wounds. Let them know that so many of us are praying for them, grieving with them, and just like them clinging to our faith, our children, and our families in the search to try and make sense of this horrific tragedy.

Amen.

One Response to A PRAYER FOR NEWTOWN AND ITS FAMILIES

  1. Grisela Jackson says:

Lord, we pray for strength to go through this heartbreak, especially for the families and the community of Newtown. Comfort them and uphold them as only you can. Help us to comfort one another and to look to thee for a healing. We need a healing Lord! This nation needs your healing touch. Heal us and make us the Christians you’d have us to be. In the name of Jesus we pray,
    Amen.
