TIRED OF THE TERM “BABY DADDY”

I am so sick and tired of the term “Baby Daddy,” a colloquialism often stated.
It connotes big time that behind a “husband” or “father” is surely overrated.
No question today about the abandonment of the institution of marriage;
It has been replaced with a casual relationship and a baby carriage.

I would prefer to hear and see more references to a “husband” or “father.”
If the reference has to be a “Babby Daddy,” please just don’t bother.
Men who work, care, love, guide, or coach, all done with God’s helping hands.
Please stand up and take note of all these good “fathers” and “husbands.”

We live in a world where words and terms carry so much power.
Millions of people in this news cycle are influenced by the hour.
So if “Baby Daddy” is promoted all over and misleading everywhere;
Surely lots of people start to believe “fathers” and “husbands” aren’t there.

I am so proud of “husbands” and “fathers,” each and every one of you.
Additionally, I am equally as proud to say that I am both of these too.
“Husbands” and “fathers” please stay strong; you see we must stand tall.
Maybe, one day, if we stay the course, the term “Baby Daddy” will not be heard or used at all!

    I’m so glad that you have recognized the need to express this topic. The reality is , the music and video , i.e (BET) culture of our “urban” young men and women champion the phrase and wear it let a badge of honor. The thought process must change through positive stimuli to stop the cycle of just being a “baby daddy”.
